Our Work

Hunting Energy Services Phase II

Woodward Design+Build served as the design-builder on the second phase of construction of Hunting Energy Services’ manufacturing complex in Houma, Louisiana.

As part of the project, Woodward completed extensive site development, including 32,000 square feet of paving and parking lots, a 6,000 square foot limestone pipe yard lay down area, 3,000 linear feet of stormwater pipe, and 1,400 linear feet of domestic water, fire water loop and fire hydrants as well as sanitary and gas utility infrastructure.
Woodward’s architects designed a new office building to serve as the corporate headquarters of Hunting Energy Services, a new pipe storage shed, and a new Deepwater Warehouse that featured overhead cranes and a high pressure testing enclosure. On the north end of the manufacturing complex, Woodward created an addition to the manufacturing building along with an open crane building.
Woodward coordinated all construction activity carefully to allow Hunting Energy to continue its manufacturing operations during their Phase II expansion project. The team overcame adverse weather conditions to deliver the project on time, even turning over the Phase II Manufacturing Building early to accommodate the owner’s early equipment delivery.
With Phase I and II both complete, Hunting Energy’s Houma complex features over 350,0000 square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, and office space.
